ABOUT THE BANDS
The Tremeloes featuring Chesney Hawkes
The TREMELOES have sold in excess of 100 Million records worldwide, with their huge No 1 Hits “Silence Is Golden”, “Suddenly You Love Me”, “Even The Bad Times Are Good”, “(Call Me) Number One” And many more!! Featuring the legendary Len “Chip” Hawkes and now featuring his son international recording star, one and only Chesney Hawkes.
Herman’s Hermits
Herman’s Hermits are an English beat rock and pop group formed in 1964 in Manchester, originally called Herman and His Hermits and featuring lead singer Peter Noone. Produced by Mickie Most, they charted with number ones in the UK and in America, where they ranked as one of the most successful acts in the Beatles-led British Invasion. They also appeared in four films, two of them vehicles for the band.
Marmalade
On New Year’s Day 1969, Marmalade began a month-long reign at Number One with ‘Ob-la-di Ob-la-da’. Their consequent headlining slots on Top Of The Pops marked not only the high summer of Scottish rock, but the climax of a hard-won personal victory traceable to the struggles of Glasgow’s Dean Ford and the Gaylords, who, becoming too hot for mid-1960s Clydeside to hold, began a new chapter with a change of name to Marmalade.
Spencer James
Spencer James is the lead vocalist and guitarist with the sixties legends The SEARCHERS for over 33 years and also a member of the band “FIRST CLASS” who had a hit with “Beach Baby” in 1974. And he has seen phenomenal success over those years.
Gary Puckett
GARY PUCKETT and the UNION GAP was one of the most successful musical groups of the sixties. Gary’s unmistakable signature voice garnered six consecutive gold records and top ten Billboard hits.
Gerry’s Pacemakers
In the early sixties, Gerry and the Pacemakers worked the same Liverpool/Hamburg circuit as the Beatles and many other groups before being signed in 1962 by manager Brian Epstein, as his second group after the Beatles.
On retiring, Gerry asked that his music be kept alive and that The Pacemakers should continue touring.
